Terms of Service
1. The service
TableClash is an online platform for competitive table games, beginning with backgammon. It may include accounts, matchmaking, multiplayer gameplay, rankings, ratings, progression, achievements, tournaments, social features, and related support or community features as development continues.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for activity carried out through your account. You must provide information that is reasonably accurate where requested and must not impersonate another person or misuse another person's account. If third-party sign-in is offered, use of that provider is also subject to the provider's terms.
3. Eligibility
You may use TableClash only if you are legally permitted to do so where you live. If applicable law requires parental or guardian consent because of your age, you may use the service only with that required consent. Additional age controls may be introduced before public launch.
4. Fair play and prohibited conduct
TableClash is designed around fair, server-authoritative competition. You must not cheat, exploit bugs, manipulate clients or network traffic to gain an unfair advantage, automate play without permission, attack or overload the service, bypass security or rate limits, access another user's account, interfere with matchmaking or rankings, harass other users, or use TableClash for unlawful activity.
We may investigate suspicious activity and may restrict, suspend, reset, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect players, competitive integrity, or the service.
5. Game results, rankings and progression
Authoritative server records determine game state and results. Rankings, ratings, levels, stars, achievements, leaderboards, seasonal records, virtual balances, and similar progression systems are service features rather than property or cash balances. During the beta period they may be adjusted, recalculated, migrated, or reset.
6. Virtual items and future paid features
TableClash may use non-cash virtual items, chips, action points, rewards, or similar game mechanics. Unless expressly stated otherwise in separate purchase terms, these items have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and do not represent a bank, deposit, or investment account. If paid products, subscriptions, tournament entries, or purchases are introduced, applicable prices, payment terms, refund rules, and consumer disclosures will be provided before purchase.
7. Gambling
The current TableClash service is being developed as a skill-based competitive gaming platform and is not presented as a real-money gambling service. Users must not use the platform to organize unlawful wagering or other prohibited gambling activity.
8. Content and conduct
If TableClash later allows usernames, profiles, chat, uploads, or other user content, you must have the right to provide that content and must not use those features for unlawful, abusive, deceptive, infringing, or harmful material. Additional community rules may be published as those features become available.
9. Intellectual property
TableClash software, branding, designs, game interfaces, original content, and related intellectual property are protected by applicable laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable right to use the service as intended; they do not transfer ownership of TableClash intellectual property to you.
10. Third-party services
TableClash may integrate third-party services such as identity providers, infrastructure providers, communications services, or payment providers. Their products and services may be governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
11. Availability and changes
We may modify, test, update, suspend, or discontinue features as the service develops. Beta availability is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security incidents, internet failures, hardware failures, third-party outages, and other events may interrupt access.
12. Disclaimer and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the beta service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights where they apply.
13. Suspension and termination
You may stop using TableClash at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary because of serious or repeated violations of these Terms, security risks, fraud, cheating, unlawful use, or operational/legal requirements. Where appropriate and legally required, we will take proportional action and provide relevant notice or appeal mechanisms.
14. Governing terms before public launch
Because TableClash is currently in open beta and its final legal operating structure is still being established, these Terms do not yet specify a final governing-law or dispute-resolution clause beyond any mandatory law that already applies. Those provisions and the operator's formal legal details will be finalized before commercial/public launch.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as TableClash develops. The effective date will be updated when changes are published. Material changes affecting public users or paid services will be communicated as appropriate.
